If you’re like most people then odds are you would never return something you have already worn and are not likely to check an online stores return policy. In the infographic below we learn from more than 7,000 shoppers about how they responded to online return policies from both small and major retailers. A great deal instantly becomes a bad deal when a product that is defective or didn’t live up to your expectations has a poor return policy, and worse doesn’t offer one at all. But with nearly $3 billion in return fraud many online stores are not very forgiving when it comes to returning items. The take away is search online for the best price but also look for the stores policy for exchanges and returns.
